The Taste of Chicago
It is hard to believe but summer is upon us and one of the city’s most anticipated street fests begins this week. This year will mark the 30th anniversary for The Taste of Chicago, the city’s largest culinary event. The fest will kick off in Grant Park this Friday, June 25th and run through Sunday, July 4th. As always, Chicago’s top restaurants will serve up and dish out sample size portions of their famous specialties. There is also quite an impressive music line-up this year with some of the headliners including: The Steve Miller Band, Los Lobos and Gavin Rossdale. Admission is free, and the Taste is open daily from 11am-9pm. So, if you are looking for something to do this weekend, grab the family and head down for lunch or dinner!
